Pawel Osmulski serves as President and Co-Founder of ProAllostera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Separately from this role, Dr. Osmulski is an Associate Professor whose academic research focuses on proteasome biophysics, protein–ligand interactions, and single-molecule analysis of proteasome structure and dynamics. His laboratory uses atomic force microscopy and biochemical approaches to study proteasome gate regulation, aging-related proteasome remodeling, and the effects of proteasome-targeting compounds. His work has contributed to the development and characterization of peptide-based proteasome activators for neurodegenerative disease.

Maria Gaczynska serves as Treasurer and Co-Founder of ProAllostera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Separately from this role, Dr. Gaczynska is an Associate Professor whose academic laboratory investigates the biochemistry, biophysics, and structural dynamics of the proteasome. Her research focuses on proteasome allosteric regulation, proteasome gate dynamics, atomic force microscopy, and the development of proteasome-modulating compounds. Her laboratory has helped define how proteasome structure and activity are altered in aging and neurodegenerative disease, supporting proteasome activation as a therapeutic strategy

Andrew Pickering serves as Secretary and Co-Founder of ProAllostera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Separately from this role, Dr. Pickering is an Associate Professor whose academic laboratory investigates the mechanisms by which aging impairs protein homeostasis and increases vulnerability to neurodegenerative disease. His research focuses on proteasome dysfunction, protein translation, brain aging, and Alzheimer’s disease, and has shown that restoring proteasome activity can improve pathological and cognitive outcomes in aging and disease models.
